okay this is going to be a kind of long story but bare with me lol.

I’m a junior, girl 5′4 petite blue eyes blonde hair. And I have a crush on this guy named Chris who is a senior like im guessing 6 foot gorgeous hazel eyes and brown hair.

Im not like MADLY in love with him, but we flirt and hang out a lot. And like a week ago he told me "I heard you have a crush on me, is that true?"

And I didn’t want to be like NO! But I kind of blushed and I was like "uhh….maybe?" And he just smiled and walked away.

I totally forgot about that little "incident" and yesterday I went to an early Halloween party.

Everyone was there, like not the whole highschool but most of it like over 80 kids. And I saw Chris and I smiled and started talking to him. Some song started playing and it was like slow song so he was like "hey wanna dance?" and I was like alright.

So we started dancing, and no one was like paying attention to us inparticular (thank god) because there was SO MANY people there.

And my heart started beating faster and we just starred into each others eyes. When the song ended I was like about to faint so I went inside to get something to drink and no one was in there, I guess everyone was outside dancing lol.

So Im just chillin out listening to the music when I feel someone wrap there arms around my waist and I hear Chris whisper into my ear "So, you do have a crush on me right?"

And I just kind of whispered "ya…" And I felt my face just flush bright red. I was so embarrassed but then I felt his lips kissing up my neck and i was like oh my god is this really happening??

I wanted to kind of act cool and not like grab his face and start kissing him, but he started nibbling on my ear and i went crazy and turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

It was the most amazing kiss ever! and when we were done i just rested my head on his shoulder and he whispered "woah…that was amazing."

I think I’m like head over heels for this guy but hes a year older then me and i dont know if people would think thats weird or not but whenever I think back on that kiss I get like tingles lol…

And hes like amazing…he plays the guitar and hes really cute ahhh! Help me? I’ve never felt like this before i think im in love

No, you’re in love with the idea of being in love with him…big difference

All we know is you think he’s hot, and he made a pass at you.

Do you know this guy at all, or do you just drool over him?

Date him, get to know him, see if he’s a man of substance, or just looking for sex.

OK?

Luck

sissy | Oct 31, 2009

you are inlove !!Omgosh your story is so nice I wish I could feel one day like that too. I’d just say be honest to him when you see him don’t give him like strange answers because he might feel that you don’t like him. But now I think you made the best thing you got him as your boyfriend girl!! Goodluck with anything you are doing and by the way do you have his fone number and has he got yours?
ishameluvu | Oct 31, 2009

Sweetie trust me you wil never know how this pan out if you never try. Don’t try to think of what others will think of you, try to focus on how you truly feel for each other. A year difference is not that bad at all, and i think you should totally go for it. But please be careful that you know what the difference is between infatuation and love. I don’t think you are in love with him just yet, but you should see where the relationship will take you. When you’re in love, you’ll know for sure :)

good luck!

I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old (both girls) and I have nothing planned for halloween. Are they old enough to trick or treat with us? should I just forego halloween? They won’t really remember. I don’t know anyone and my husband has been invited to an adult halloween party but since we have kids I can’t really go only he can. Should I just stay home and hand out candy? I have no idea what to do.

Yes, you can take them trick or treating. They’re always the cutest trick or treaters out there. Your husband can hand out candy, his Hallowe’en party isn’t going to start that early.

You take the kids out after dinner as soon as it gets dark. Your husband hands out candy. The kids are little, they won’t last longer than an hour at most. You bring them home, your husband can go out.
Kathleen | Oct 31, 2009

The girls are too young to really understand what’s going on, but the neighbors will love seeing them. Take them out early and don’t keep them out too long. An hour might be too long. I wouldn’t go to the party without my wife, but if that’s OK with both of you, he can go when you bring the kids home.

As you said, the kids won’t remember, but the neighbors who know them will love it.
jack of all trades | Oct 31, 2009

they may not remember everything since they are that young but just the feeling that something is different and something fun is happening is perfect for growing little kids, everything counts, make halloween fun, they will eventually catch on as they get older =)its also a good bonding time and a treat for the kids.
Lauren | Oct 31, 2009

They can go trick or treating, and will most likely have a lot of fun doing so! Your 2 year old may not remember it much, but your 3 year old will remember it for weeks, maybe months too. My daughter will be 3 in Dec. and she remembers things that happened many months ago. Since they are still young, they may only be able to walk for an hour if you’re lucky so you can bring a stroller in case one of them gets tired/cranky.
*Love my baby girl TTC #2* | Oct 31, 2009

They are absolutely old enough to go trick or treating! I even take my 1 year old to a couple houses early in the evening. Just take them maybe around your block or even just half of it and then let them help you hand out candy… They will love that part even more!
Morgan | Oct 31, 2009

they are definitely old enough to remember it. My youngest’s birthday is 2 days after halloween, so he went at almost exactly 1, 2, last year at 3 he was running from house to house, and he is really hyped to go this year at 4 years old.

what do you need to plan? Activities or costumes? they have costumes for under $20 at wal-mart.
avonmom | Oct 31, 2009

I would just hand out candy. It’s a little too late for taking them to trunk or treats- they are a little more kid (and parent) friendly and they are generally safer. If you want them to dress up- dress them up at home- let them "help" pass out candy- rent a movie, play some games, and set aside some candy for them. It will be just as fun and easier for you all. Tell them they can trick or treat when they get bigger. Or just take them to a mall that hands out candy. Many churches have stuff going on that night, too- it’s more of a fall festival, but still games and fun, and candy. Do whatever is best for you since hubby won’t be there to help. It won’t be all that fun for them- or you, if you are stressed out. What’s good for you is good for everyone involved! :)

ALDS
New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers (Yankees 3-0)
Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox (Red Sox 3-2)

NLDS
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Dodgers 3-2)
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves (Cardinals 3-1)

ALCS
New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox (Yankees 4-3)

NLCS
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Dodgers 4-2)

World Series
New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Yankees 4-1)

Looks solid. Only thing is, I just can’t see the Dodgers losing in 5. Everything else is good.

Chili McFreeze | Sep 29, 2009

I like it. Not to mention you put the Braves in there because they are just 2 games behind the Rockies.
Mr.Butt Burn | Sep 29, 2009

A) Don’t be surprised if the Twins make a last minute swap for the central with the Tigers

B) Phillies/Dodgers is a toss up series, but probably going 5 games so I give you credit there

C) (even being a Sox fan) I think your ALCS is right

D) I don’t expect the Yankees to walk over the Dodgers in 5, that series will probably go at least 6 games.
Jonathan M | Sep 29, 2009

I don’t think the Dodgers will beat the Cardinals. I think it will be Yankees vs. Cards in the WS with the Yankees winning (4-2)
The Hitman | Sep 29, 2009

Looks about right based on the Season, but you never know what surprises are in store for the post season. Most people did not see Tampa Bay coming last year.

Don’t forget the red hot Braves, they may make it in instead of the Phillies. and I am a Philly fan watching a pretty bad swoon (they lost 5 of their last 7).
jakemcclake | Sep 29, 2009

lemme tell u bro, those are great fucking playoff predictions. the yankees are the best team out there and there never gonna lose to fuck everyone else and suck the yankees dick
John | Sep 29, 2009

It looks pretty good! But i dont know what will happen when the yankees vs the red soxs because thats going to be a close game!
kevin | Sep 29, 2009

I think the Angels can take the Red Sox (maybe I just want them to) and if L.A. plays Philadelphia, I think the fight won’t be close. I predict Philadelphia to only win one of those NLDS games. L.A. can take the Cards as you say, and I have to say L.A. is gonna take the Yanks 4-3
mathwiz | Sep 29, 2009

Don’t overlook the Twins, #1, and frankly, don’t assume the Yankees are the best either, because I don’t like how their starting pitiching would be matched up in the playoffs. Saying they should sweep the Tigers (or Twins) just because of records is taking a big chance. After CC, who on the Yankee starting rotation do you REALLY trust to win a playoff game? They can’t count on scoring 6-8 runs every playoff game.
mntwins | Sep 29, 2009

No. I think dodgers will win the NL best record and they will play the Braves.

Cardinals will beat Phillies and Dodgers get into the World Series.

If Rockies win the WC, Cardinal will beat Rockies first and then beat Phillies. I think Phillies can beat Dodgers.

I think Cardinals will beat the Yankees but I won’t bet on it.
richnieh | Sep 29, 2009

Not bad but this is what i think

ALDS
New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers (Yankees 3-0)
Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox (Angels 3-2)

NLDS
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Dodgers 3-1)
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves (Braves 3-1)

ALCS
New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels (Yankees 4-3)

NLCS
Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Braves 4-0)

World Series
New York Yankees vs. Atlanta Braves (Yankees 4-1)

Tonight, the North Carolina vs. LSU game in the College World Series was delayed due to bad weather.

In any case, if a game is canceled and rescheduled due to bad weather, does the rescheduled game start over or pick up from where it left off?
it was the top of the first.

North Carolina and LSU’s game was suspended due to rain and will continue Friday night. The game will resume with UNC at the plate in the top of the first inning. Georgia-Stanford and Fresno State will play on Saturday

This was taken from ESPN.COM. As a Carolina fan I am pleased haha. Take care, JC

If you’ve look at all the other Patriot games in the last few weeks, you’ll see that they weren’t blowouts either, with the exception of the steelers and the lowly dolphins. How does the giants playing close against the patriots prove anything when the ravens and the eagles also lost by just 3 points to the patriots?

Yeah It’s been blown way out of proportion. First off that game was in NY. Then the Giants had threatened to pull their starters if they we’re way down at the half, and the motivation to beat the undefeated Pat.s was great. That’s gone now, the motivation to win the SB will go both ways. All this talk just feeds the fire for NE. Get ready to play some football at halftime cause this game will already be out of reach by then, Final score 48-13, Pat’s.

now don't start that again | Jan 25, 2008

No, its just exciting to know they are playing one of the teams that played them best for the superbowl!
adddictedtomonsterenergy | Jan 25, 2008

Because the Giants at the time were already a lock in the playoffs, they had nothing to play for. The Ravens and Eagles where played semi early in the year and they both looked to miss the playoffs. This is only my opinion but yah the media did blow the game WAY out of proportions.
BK-Have it your way! | Jan 25, 2008

I’m not even sure what you’re asking here. If you’re asking if the Giants stand a chance against the Patriots in the Super Bowl? I say yes. They didn’t win the NFC Championship because they suck.
Drew Blood | Jan 25, 2008

ah but your forgetting that this is America, where the media only gets paid to blow everything out of proportion. And Giants fans know that their team has changed their playbook so the Patriots can’t use their beloved videotapes to win any more games.
mavriksfan11 | Jan 25, 2008

yes but the giants team got better so itll still be close
sports=lyfe (pats,giants, yanks) | Jan 25, 2008

its the superbowl man, any thing can happen
dave51_1998 | Jan 25, 2008

Yes, it does give the Giant fan hope, and here’s why:

The game against the Ravens and the Eagles were the Patriots at their worst. The Ravens saw Willis McGahee running wild over the defense, and the Eagles saw Tom Brady give one of his worst performances of the year.

The Gaints game saw the Patriots firing on all cylinders, and the Giants being able to keep pace. It showed that even if the Pats’ offense clicks, the Giants can make a game of it, which is more than can be said of the two other teams that the Pats have seen in the playoffs.
jigokusabre | Jan 25, 2008

Yes it has been blown way out of proportion. Could I please hear something about anouther team. All I hear is GIANTS GIANTS GIANTS!!
kimmy4here | Jan 25, 2008

no. I watched it again, last night. it was a great game. PATRIOTS fans are just tired of hearing about it because, they would rather not have to remember it.

How do you make medicine from water hyacinth? What specific type of medicine will be produced? I need it fast…
What specific type of medicine will be produced? I need methods of how to make it a medicine! I need to know how they survive in polluted waters! I need it fast within 24 hours!

The antoxidative properties of water hyacinth leaves were investigated by evaluating the scavenging capacity of liquid extracts in a competitive protective process against oxygenated free radicals (OFRs) released via electrolysis in a phosphate buffer with a Pt electrode. Colorimetric measurements carried out at 515 nm, through a N,N-diethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine (DPD) assay, showed a decreased absorbance of the sample, as compared to the blank obtained by electrolysis of the buffer without plant extract, revealing, thereby, the presence of antioxidizing agents in the liquid extracts. The antioxidative activity was estimated in terms of equivalent-glutathione (EG, in nmoles equivalent-glutathione per gram of dry plant material selected (eg/gdp)), and compared to those of soya beans and garlic bulbs. The EG value increased with decreasing dilution factors, regardless to the plant type, suggesting a strong influence of the medium pH on the antioxidizing agent extraction yields. Various plant drying procedures, namely: sunlight exposure (at 25
